Kakum Canopy Walk
Kakum National Park is on coast of southern Ghana, in West Africa. It protects an area of rainforest, home to endangered mammals such as forest elephants, bongo antelopes and primates like the Diana monkey. The Canopy Walkway, suspended 30 meters above the ground, provides treetop views of the forest.

Cape Coast Castle
In Cape Coast Castle, the underground dungeon was a space of terror, death, and darkness. This stood as a direct just a position to the European living quarters and commanding heights of whiteness above, who lived relatively luxuriously. The basement of this imposing fortress was often the last memory slaves had of their homeland before being shipped off across the Atlantic, as this signified the beginning of their journey.

Mountain Afadjato
Mount Afadja is one of the highest mountains in Ghana standing at an elevation of 885 metres (2,904 ft). The mountain is located in the Agumatsa Range near the villages of Gbledi and Liati Wote, in the Volta Region of Ghana at the border with Togo.

Larabanga Mosque
It is one of only eight mosques in the country built in this manner, and has long been a pilgrimage site for Ghana’s Muslim population.

Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum
The memorial complex was dedicated in 1992, and is situated on the site of the former British colonial polo grounds in Accra. It is five acres in size. The mausoleum, designed by Don Arthur, houses the bodies of Kwame Nkrumah and his wife Fathia Nkrumah.

Nzulezu
Nzulezu’s inhabitants over 500 years ago. It is believed that the ancestors of the villagers settled on the water as directed by a God who appeared to them in the form of a snail, leading them slowly to the body of water they would call home.

Monkey Sanctuary
A visit to the monkey sanctuary at Boabeng and Fiema makes a great day out. The monkeys have access to all parts of the village and the local people plant fruit trees for them. For generations the people of Fiema have believed the monkeys are sacred and have prohibited harm to them.

Dambai Festival
The significance of the festival is to commemorate the birthday of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Mohammed, but the actual content of the celebration is a glorification of the chieftaincy. Damba festival is in effect a thanksgiving festival and a time for families to meet, and socialize. It is also for auditing and evaluating the past and planning for the future. This is the period the Dagbamba who reside outside Dagbon travel home for the festivities.

Chale Wote Street Carnival
The producers of the community-based fête, Accra[dot]Alt, started Chale Wote in 2010 as a street art exhibition and food fair in Mantse Agbonaa, Jamestown. The festival has since grown to be a city-wide phenomenon that attracts about 45,000 people every year, who come together to watch live music and art performances.

Ankos Festival
The Ankos Festival also known as Takoradi street carnival or Masquerade Festival is an annual event celebrated by the people of Tarkoradi, Ghana. Its main attraction is dozens of groups of people or teams dressing in wild outfits who display their skills and arts via dance. The festival is usually celebrated from 24–26 December of every year, and is popular with tourist.

Accra Street Carnival
Join Ghana society to celebrate Ghana with a carnival float from the Obra spot at the Kwame Nkrumah interchange through some principal streets in Accra to the Independence Square. Climaxed with an exhibition and sale of made-in-Ghana goods, food bazaar, talent hunts, pick and acts, Jama competition, beach jam, poetry recitals, live paintings, brass band display and masquerades.

Accra Art Carnival
The Ghana Carnival is organized by the Ministry of Tourism in partnership with the Ghana Society UK. This event will be used to promote domestic tourism and give the opportunity to businesses within the tourism, creative arts and culture industry to exhibit and sell their products and services to participants.
